I agree that 2 fly halves seems a bit mad but the argument being put forward is that rotating 3 does not give them enough game time.

I would have liked to have seen Ben Morgan in the side as he can be devastating running from 8. I would have also considered Billie Twelvetrees as he can play center and cover at fly half if necessary.

Stevens was a shock and I am surprised that Sheridan was not picked. Also agree that big Jim Hamilton should have been on the plane.

Mike Brown would have also been a useful addition as cover at wing and full back.

All looks a bit route 1, crash through the middle to me but time will tell. Really looking forward to it.

Surely only having 2 10s means that they are both in every single match squad, no rest allowed. Even if the 3rd choice was only used for bench duties at least it would mean the 2 other 10s could have a break on some of the match days, both mentally and physically

Apparently, Hogg is expected to fill in as cover at 10, which is a bit of a gamble given that he's not really done that for a few years!

it's as expected really. except Matt Stevens, also think Zebo was unlucky not to go, I guess he got injured at the wrong time.

It show the lack of quality in the England backs that only 3 are going.

I think its a real shame that no uncapped players are selected anymore, I suppose it's a symptom of modern rugby, where more games and bigger squads mean more caps.

Hogg is a decent stand off, I would even say it is is best position.
