Linden Electric Golf Trolleys

GO Kart..... its a worry how many people have had to deal with their customer service.

This always makes me smile....
The most often reported fault with the GoKart is the plastic score card holder breaking off. Yes, it's flimsy. Mine broke within a month of buying my cart. I haven't bothered to replace it because I would never use it anyway! My card sits in my back pocket. Always has done, always will.
My elastic "bungee strap" broke. You know, the bottom one that holds the bag steady on the cart. It's made of rubber. Rubber perishes over time. I made a comment (not a complaint) about it on a thread on here. Sandy from GoKart happened to spot my comment. As I say, it wasn't a moan, I just mentioned that I was going to have to buy a new bungee at some point.
Half an hour later I had received an email from her saying "don't worry Rob, a new bungee is in the post" and it arrived the very next day. Free of charge.
That's not customer service. That's a bloody miracle and is the one reason I will not buy any other make of golf trolley in the future. Never. Ever.
Is that what you mean by saying "having to deal with customer services?"
Because if it is, nothing could be further from the truth.
Try taking something back to PC World, Comet or Currys. THAT'S trying to deal with customer services!!

Chris. Go with the GoKart. I would recommend them to anyone (and I'm not on a bung for doing so). You will not regret it.

I couldnt really give a stuff what the trolley looks like. Does it do the job its been made to do ie. pull your blinking clubs round a golf course ? If the answer is yes then find the one that does it on the budget you can afford.

I have a gokart , the bungee strap broke at the bottom , big deal i've got millions of bungees in the garage and they cost 50p ? Funnily enough it didnt affect one bit how the blinking thing pulled my clubs :D

I wouldnt touch a powakaddy/motokaddy/hillybilly though as I dont like the look of them ;)

What planet are you from? You read bad reviews about motocaddy and Powacaddy!!!So you went for a linden, but you nearly bought a Go-kart!!!Aye rite.
Does your space-ship land soon!

PS the battery isn't laughing at 18 holes its laughing at you choice!!!!boom boom...........lol

Erm, check out many review sites and you will find that more people slate moto and powakaddy than recommend them.
I gave my reasons for not buying a Go Kart.
Nowt wrong with my choice, just giving my opinion, which in your world is never a valid option is it CC07.

Nowt wrong with the battery on my trolley. Like the OP, I didn't have the obvious slush fund you obviously have at your disposal to buy the aforementioned PK and MC.

Do you often find yourself using your lavish trolley and playing golf alone? :D

Linden took over the stock of a company called PowerPro Golf, which ceased trading a year or so ago. If you put PowerPro into Google, you go to the Linden website.

The trolleys are imported from China - but that's nothing unusual. I have one of the PowerPro trolleys, which as far as I can see are virtually identical to the Linden ones apart from the colour of the frame. I have had it for about 3 years, it is pretty solid.

The one I have is fairly basic - a variable speed control, but no fancy read-outs or radio control. I haven't had any problems with the trolley. Pretty easy to fold and unfold; wheels can be removed for storage if needed quite easily. I managed to fry the battery charger and have had to replace that. It was just under £200 for a trolley with a Lucas 36 hole battery, charger and cover to put on it when it folded up in the boot of the car.

It's not the most compact of trolleys when folded, but I have a 4x4 so that isn't an issue.

I bought the Powakaddy Freeway 2 about 18 months ago for it's looks as I thinks the white one looks the DB's with the white Powakaddy Deluxe bag but that's where it ends as I'm now on my 3rd one after having the first 2 replaced under warranty for various faults to include water ingression in to the display (twice), axle bushes wearing out, frame wearing away under the closing bracket, speed controller faults etc. another couple of players at the club have had the same issues, 'nough said really! :(

I'm sorry but when it does come time to replace again I won't be buying the Gokart as it looks sooo ugly....
