I was in a friendly 3 ball on Thursday, really enjoying the weather and the banter.
We noticed a couple of 2 balls catching up, both using buggies.
My PP lost a ball on one hole so, whilst looking, we called the first 2 ball through as they got on the tee.
We carried on searching for the ball before realising that the 2 ball hadn't gone by.
We looked up to find that they were in trouble and had called the next pair through!
I've never seen that before but we didn't care and were highly amused by the whole thing.
