Hello all,

I couldn't find much on the search function for this topic.

Having recently moved to the area, I am looking for a recommendation of where to take lessons locally, preferrably with Trackman as I like the feedback.

Thank you for suggestions.
James

Hi James,

I was bought a TrackMan lesson with Jon Fleet at the driving range in Reading last year, which I enjoyed so much I booked a course of lessons over the winter with him. Unfortunately the driving range has been closed (council did not renew the lease, preferring to put a high ropes centre there instead... don't get me started on that), and Jon has moved to Reading Golf Club, and I have continued my lessons with him there.

They have an indoor studio with GC2, so we use that rather than Trackman now and the results are very similar, but it has the added bonus of tracking the club head rotation and strike point.

Reading GC is actually out North East of Reading, towards Henley, so might be reasonable for you... can highly recommend Jon as a coach as well.

This is really helpful, thank you very much.

I am up near Nettlebed so actually it's not too bad to drive to Reading Golf Club.

Cheers,
James

Off topic: You are very close to Huntercombe Golf Club if you are based in Nettlebed. Huntercombe is an absolute gem of a course.
