To the admin really, but anyone else can comment.

How feasible would it be to have the ad's appearing only if you're not logged in, so the forum behaves more as it used to for layout for those logged in, using the forum for posts and pm's?

Not feasible. It's the money from the advertising that keeps the forum running as it does.

The layout will be changing so that the Ads appear at the top of the page and we will have the full width of the forum back. This will be happening soon after The Open.

Until then we just have to grin and bare it unfortunately.

It will look "normal" again once it's fixed. Only difference will be advertisements above the main forum body. But they won't be intrusive to the forum as they are now.

Breakthrough - we can now see the time when posts are posted.

Oops - sorry, it's gone again - or was it just my imagination?

Senility strikes again. I thought there had been a welcome change but now realise:

If you are on "New Posts", you can only see half of the "time posted".

If you are on any of the individual forums themselves - Lounge, Ask the Experts etc. - you can see all of the "time posted".

Shows up my limited attention span.
