Yeh, never gets the credit he deserves does PL. Never got it for his spectacular last round at carnastie. I cant believe some people think it was a flash in the pan.......72 holes round Carnastie against the best in the world.

He's doing a book as far as I know and as this years been good to him, the last chapter should be good.

I like Paul Lawrie. He always comes across as a right decent bloke and consummate professional.
A fine example to golfers. Really pleased he made the Ryder Cup this year.

depite being a grump on the red eye up to Aberdeen (prob missed the cut) he comes across as really nice, great for kids golf in Aberdeen and shire. If only all pro's put as much back into the game as him.

He seems to do a lot for kids up in Scotland. OK there was that farce a while back where there was a row about where he could practice (forget the details or the club involved) but he seems an honest enough guy. Has had a renaissance this year and rightly in the RC cup. I think he'll acquit himeself well too

I share that view too, as well as admire the way he got stuck into his practice when he realised that he was going nowhere. I believe his son beat him one day and then the penny dropped that he was drifting into mediocrity and sorted himself out, that takes some doing, and then to get to the Ryder Cup - top man and I hope that he does well in the RC

Lawrie 4 behind the leader after a 2 under 68 today.

Our Pro Daniel Wood made the cut with a shot to spare which is a fantastic achievement considering the lack of golf he has had this year...........fully justifies his invite.

Drawn with David Law tomorrow which is a top draw for him, great experience.

Up and down out of ball washers was the summing up of his level par round!

Are any of our boys running out of form currently??? Even Kaymer looks to have found something, so looking good all round.

Gonna be a great battle next week I think - really looking forward to it!!

That Gareth Wright is Bunkers mate and he appears to be a bit of a player!
