I have seen this in Lidl for £99 at the moment but my issue is ceiling height. I couldn't swing fully and I am not sure we have the climate to use it outdoors. Imagine battering that wee plastic ball with a driver all weekend .... I am sure it would go through your telly box.

That seems cheep, I would love to have a go... but not in my own house.

Always loved gadgets James.

If I got one it definitely wouldn't be used indoors apart from maybe hitting 40-50yd pitches with half swings.

It would be on the patio out the back with my laptop.

I'm just concerned how good the ball is at staying attached to the rest of the machine, especially after a few hundred hits.

After I saw this post last night I looked at a load of youtube videos. The item looked cheep to me it also could use a full mat so the ball is not always above your feet and it always seems to move when people hit the ball so it needs to be stuck down. I think I would buy a mat and sink it into the mat.

I'm another with a low ceiling which renders anything above a half swing as useless and another DIY project to do fixing the damage if I get carried away.

It seems quite a good price but I understand your concerns about the ball, especially if reviews already indicate it is an issue. Maybe one to consider outside in the better weather but not facing any houses or cars

If your using it outside you can hit the ball into a net, you do not need to use the ball they put on the cord.

I have the older one, It is great fun,
I have high enough ceilings so that is no problem. Myself and the lads have a tiger night, usually an alternate shot 4 ball, leads to some good slagging after a few beers.
Good fun, if you slice it does slice, but more a fun tool.

How does it stand up to the use?

Any issues with the ball looking like it might come loose?

Hi Region
It stands up to use pretty good. The tee gets a bit second hand, if you have a person who comes down on the ball they might make the matt look a bit second hand but it is pretty robust.
If you have a group playing I would suggest you tee under the ball every time.
Good fun though, and I have had many good uses out of mine. More a social thing.
