From what I can see there are several types of LM around. Trackman seems to be the best, followed by Flightscope. Most of the Pro's around here have the Vector.

Now I know AG's use the Vector and there have been problems with them ramping up the readings. But is the Vector itself a poor-man's LM? It's probably not as good as the Trackman but does it do the job in the hands of a clued-up Pro?

I don't think there is too much wrong with the Vector and it will give most of the core data but I'm not sure it is quite as accurate plotting distances and trajectory. I think it should still tell you thing like spin rates etc and so in the hands of a decent pro there'll be nothing to worry about. It's in AG where they crank the settings up and the staff aren't trained enought to understand the data produced and make a recommendation on the info that annoys me

Most of these are fine. Any is susceptible to exaggeration. They can do this by increasing the altitude assumption in the setting s to that it seems you are hitting shits at 5000 feet where they will go much further.

I would choose the best pro, because interpretation is the craftsman's part of the process.
