At my club, a qualifying competition on Wednesday wasn't entered into the ISV until today (Friday). Will Wednesday's PCC be re-calculated as a result?
Theoretically, the club can request a recalculation. At my club, a qualifying competition on Wednesday wasn't entered into the ISV until today (Friday). Will Wednesday's PCC be re-calculated as a result?
Ok thanks.Theoretically, the club can request a recalculation.
It’ll stay at 0 anyway.Theoretically, the club can request a recalculation.
Very likely but not guaranteed. It’ll stay at 0 anyway.
The results were not published until Friday, and that's also the day the scores were entered into the IG system. To confirm. are you saying the SCORE was not submitted until Friday, or the results were not finalised / published until Friday? And, if the scores where only entered on Friday, why would that be? Was the system down on Wednesday, so the scores had to be entered a few days later when a Committee member was available to do it?
I thought most people entered their score on the PSI Screen or their phone immediately after the round these days, but the results won't be published until the Committee check it all over. And, if the Score was entered on the system on the day of the competition, surely that will impact the PCC as it should anyway, regardless of when the results are published.
Ultimately, the handicap committee has the responsibility to ensure scores are submitted to WHS in a timely manner and, knowing the impact of the planned work to the clubhouse, should have arranged for alternative means of getting the scores entered on the day.The results were not published until Friday, and that's also the day the scores were entered into the IG system.
Reason is that our clubhouse is currently undergoing a complete redevelopment and there is no PSI available. The cards have to be entered by the office, and given the redevelopment work, they are a bit snowed under.
Oh, I agree completely - in principle.Ultimately, the handicap committee has the responsibility to ensure scores are submitted to WHS in a timely manner and, knowing the impact of the planned work to the clubhouse, should have arranged for alternative means of getting the scores entered on the day.
