Very quiet on here today for a certain section of the footballing community (can't bring myself to type the name of the club, no swearing allowed on here).

3 nil down in 28 minutes, to a Swiss team no one's heard of, playing on carpet.

Final score 3-2 was a shame. No one likes to see that.

I agree Murph but sadly with two away goals I think they will manage to scrape through in the return leg. However if they play like that against some of the form teams in Europe it will an embarrasing scoreline

Nice bit of deflection there, back on topic. Just how bad are spurs? Will they go down this year, how would they fair against the giants of English first division, Bristol rovers, Yeovil town etc.
'Arry even said that it was a good pitch that would only take a little getting used to, not much use when you only get one crack at the away leg, he should have sent the team to practice at the local leisure centre. Plenty of astro turf there.

See the Spurs/Joe Hart thread for my thoughts.

I couldn't stop laughing when they'd gone 3-0 down and hadn't had a sniff at goal.

They looked absolutely abysmal! I could understand if they were playing a top quality European side, but this was some Swiss side that no one has ever heard of.

They may well scrape through (unfortunately), but making it past the group stages on that form is something that won't happen.

I thought Spurs were crap last night and to be fair only got back into it because YB bottled it once Spurs got their first. If they had continued to take the game to Spurs in the 2nd half it could have been 4 or 5

I don't think Harry will let them be that bad again and the crowd will help. It should be a good 2nd leg and I'll go Spurs 3-1
