Lasers over 150 yards

It must be crap then, I will bin mine and go and get a more expensive one, thanks for enlightening me with your experience

Mine is cheap ole jobby from USA and have no problems locking onto flag at 260, lasered a bunker at 330 today no sweat. Persevere you'll get used to using it .

Mine cost under 100 quid. I have tested it against most of the current hot brands and there is zero difference in accuracy.
There may not be as many extras but it gives yardage accurately then what's the problem?

I find what really helps to stop your hands shaking is pushing your thumb and finger holding the laser around your eye as you are using your face to steady your hand then. Been much better for me

Elbows close to the body, use scan mode as Brendy describes rather than expect a one zap lock if you don't have a pin seeker mode. Don't forget to look out for course marking to help double check your results e.g. if you are standing at a 150 centre marker and measuring 170 then either its a very big green or you're not on the flag.

Flag colours can cause issues. Blue and yellow can be harder to lock at distance than white and red due to the fact they don't reflect the laser as well.

I usually find if I can't get a lock on the flag then I'm too far to need that level of accuracy anyway. I combine with GPS but if I don't have that then I zap the front of the green and add on 5 yards. Unless the greens are massive then that should be enough to give me a chance as from that range my target is basically the vicinity of the green.
