Lack of competitive golf.....

We have none from Nov until March and then there are at least one medal or Stableford on a Sunday per month plus a couple of board comps

Is my club fairly unique in not having that many Sunday competitions???
I work every Saturday unfortunately, but get a day off in the week (Wednesdays) to compensate.
The only regular Wednesday competition is what we call the WAMS (Wednesday AM Seniors) which is foursome/greensomes, which isn't really my cup of tea.
So that only leaves Sundays to play competitive golf.
Looking at the club diary for January/February there is only ONE qualifying competition on a Sunday that I can enter.
There was nothing in the diary for January on a Sunday until....

Sunday 22nd Jan JUNIOR STABLEFORD
Sunday 29th Jan PICK-UP FOURSOMES
Sunday 19th Feb MONTHLY STABLEFORD
Sunday 26th Feb PICK-UP FOURSOMES & JUNIOR STABLEFORD

So that's only one qualifying competition in two months that I can enter
Is your club like this???

my club has NO Sunday comp at all.
my mate has moved clubs because he works Saturday's.
i think in winter it's not a prob as they would be non qualifiers anyway .

My club tend to vary these, especially the monthly medals and stabefords and these can be one or the other. Same with the honour board events. The diary is pretty full from March to October and there are also weekday events too

I find by April,I havnt played anything but 4 ball better ball for 5 months, now that's a lack of competitive golf.

At the weekend most of our qualifiers are on Saturdays, but there is only one competition in October and then nothing from November through to the end of March.

We only have about 2/3 comps on a sunday the whole year. No comps throughout the winter at all.
