Kids tv

Some of the kids TV today is genius, especially stuff on CBBC. I'd argue you get more wit and invention in 5 minutes of Shaun the Sheep than most feature length animated films. And Horrible Histories was genuinely one of the funniest things on TV. This song is just superb and is so clever, how I wish this was around when I was at school as I could not stand history, but my 7 year old is all over it and has horrible histories on constantly.

Some good ones mentioned. Some others I loved, maybe a bit more obscure: Battle Of The Planets. Star Fleet. Tarzan (Cartoon version). Space Ghost. Space Sentinels. Ulysses 31. Jamie & The Magic Torch.

Also loved Hong Kong Phooey, Airwolf, The A Team, Danger Mouse and Dukes of Hazzard.

This is a good website for nostalgia from this era... http://www.80snostalgia.com/

Dinner break from junior school: Hickory House, Pipkins,Rainbow..12.10 until 12.30......12 until 12.10..Rupert Bear Cloppa Castle, Mr Benn....

Apres school: Grange Hill, Brendan Chase, Danger Mouse, (not Jackanory),

PM: Space 1999, Six Million Dollar Man, Dukes of Hazard

Finally, went to see Sooty Show at B/Pool Winter Gardens with nieces yesterday, loved it,they haven't changed in 40 odd years!!!! Was great :)
