Hi all,

Myself, Lewis (MVP) Richard (smudge) and Roger (leftie) had our game today.

We had lovely weather for it, the course was in great shape and we had an excellent day out.

The winner of the Individual stableford was smudge, closely followed by myself (1 bloody point!)

The better-ball was one by smudge and myself.

We had a nice day and it is clear that we all have certain superb qualities. Smudge is an excellent all round golfer and is consistent off the tee, that is for sure, I was impressed with Lefties pitching and feel for the short stuff. MVP hits the ball a long way thats for sure and has a good game on the way up, as for me? I thought I drove pretty well today.

A great day and look forward to the next meet.

'MR PINK'....is that a mockery of someones choice of attire...or does it need explaining?

Glad the day went well, what course did you play at?

Well done MWJ for organising a great day and for having a word with the Met Office. It was possibly one of the nicest afternoons this year. I was almost tempted to wear shorts today but in deference to the Wednesday Club, thought that I should remain soberly dressed - unlike one of our players who has a penchant for pink! Pink jumper, pink tees, maroony pink car. He/she shall remain nameless but did drive well and came 2nd by one point. (there you are Jon, I said I wouldn't mention names and why, pray, haven't you published the photos?

It was one of those courses that you look at and think - yeh, fairly open, miss the fairway and still not in too much trouble. I can score well here. How wrong can you be. Disappointed with my game off the tee and had to scramble my way around but fair dues to the others they played well. Smudge played to his h/cap, MWJ and MVP were close to theirs.

All in all, a good day out meeting "cyber friends".

Don't forget the pink glove Roger! The pink has always been a favourite colour of mine bust rest assured that I am not a closet homosexual, I have a 15month old bundle of joy (and the worst nappy ever when I got in) to proove my hetero-ness. I shall wear the cornflour blue getup next time for a change.

Photos will be up tomorrow as the sd card reader is at work.

Definately a great day weather wise, I think that is why the course was so busy. They say that the sun shines on the virtuous, today, I think it was our day to be blessed.

Witnessed some great shots today without a doubt, most pleasing for me personally was my driving (best was 260) and that towards the end my putter started working for me.

Roger has a real knack of getting out of dodgy situations and back in play, a fine example of this was the trouble on the left of 17. Well done.
