So a lot of us are still battling the elements to get our handicaps down as much as we can when possible. I played last week in a very slow cold round and by the end of it I started to get fed up..

How does everyone keep warm when your being slowed down by the groups in front? I was all geared up in my thermals and jumpers.. thinking of buying some winter mits and a wolly hat tomorrow with the winnings on my account!!

Woolly hat for sure and winter mitts with hand warmers if it's very cold. Always wear waterproof trousers on top of my normal ones as it stops them getting mucky but also adds to the layering system.

I have one of these Keela (primaloft) jackets and they are awesome and actually too warm yesterday in 3 degrees ! It's like wearing a quilt yet light enough and roomy enough to comfortably swing a club.

Dunno yet.............. it's been shirtsleeve weather down here since the summer. I was at the range lunch time and it was really quite warm, fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Having something warm on your head should be mandatory as that is where the greatest heat loss will come from. Personally I use an under armour, polo short and a good wool jumper. I am not a fan of winter mitts and the hassle of taking them on and off but if it is a slow round and there is plenty of waiting they are invaluable. Nothing worse than trying to play once the hands have gotten cold

I don't suffer too much from cold.
I have the wooly hat and mitts though........

Base Layer, shirt and fleece does it for me in all but the coldest weather.

Bought some foot joy weather soft gloves! Well worth 17 quid! Also, base layer, t shirt, vest jumper and a Gavin green jacket = plenty warm!
