K15 to G20 Driver

Yes fella, I made the exact same switch and what do you know....the K15 is back in the bag. Now whilst my technique is far from perfect, I was losing the G20 to the right more than my K15 (which the K15 is obviously designed to negate) and therefore losing distance. I also found the G20 launched higher than the K15 for me. Both were 10.5 regular but the G20 definitely leapt up a bit more.

My improved accuracy with the K15 could also be down to the fact I had the standard sized grip 'thinned' out because I have little girl hands, so that might have had a significant benefit.

In the right hands the G20 I'm sure is a bomber, but I struggled a little. Good luck if you decide to go for one.

I'm a G20 user and absolutely love it, but also like tsped I have little girly hands so have had a smaller grip put on it.

It does launch a bit higher than the K15 which I did try out but its imo its more workable

I made the switch from K15 to G20 and sold the K15 shortly after as I loved the G.

Both good clubs but i decided to try and fix my slice via lessons than use a club which is designed to help prevent it, best decision I made!

Yep Ive had both with standard and non standard shafts. The K15 does what it says on the tin and reduces slices and but does not completley cut them out. I found with the tfc shaft it launched higher than the G20 but I had the tour tfc shaft in my G20 so not a direct comparrison. They are similar in size with the K15 being slightly stretched back more. The G20 beats it for sound.

I had a Diamana Blueboard installed into the K15 and it brought the launch and spin down quite a bit compared to the TFC. With this combo it was long and straight and it was the worst decision ever to sell it. I now have the G20 with a Fujikuta Motore F3 installed. Still an incredibly straight driver for me but with a bit more workability. Im probaly 10 yards longer with the G20 than the K15.

I done the opposite I changed my G15 which I was slicing very badly for a K15 now and I am driving 90% straighter, really glad I changed. I would just love that little extra distance with my drives!!

How did you know what shaft to go for to give you that extra distance, does it really make that much noticeable difference compared to the standard FTC regular shaft that comes off the shelf????

I tried the K15 didnt ike it, had the G20 but sold it and got the Cobra AMP which has a superb RIP shaft

I now hit the Cobra better than anything and it sits on neutral, not everybodys cup of tea but they work very well and they are cheap as hell now
