Just played the round of my life............

Good shooting, have to agree last three are tough, long uphill at 16, 17 always seems to be in to the wind, or is that just me. 18 is a bit shorter but the trees still have to be avoided.
How is the course holding up, still a bit wet underfoot ?

Yes, Alan, your memory serves u well
16th as described
and 17th, always into the wind too, so you are on a roll..........
18th tree lined slight dogleg uphill too, hit the middle and u are in with a chance

The course is getting better the last couple of weeks, previously VERY Wet, and holding it too
But as long as we are in Good 'Nick' for the season, I be happy

It's always good to get someone else's view on the course as the brother in law just always says how wet and bad it is, but still goes out and plays there ;). Always found the greens to be good though. Fingers crossed for the season ahead.

Over the Winter its been much much WETTER than last year, and according to others, WETTER than most previous years, it was at one point very bad in my opinion too, lots of areas still roped off, even now, not to walk on
They have put a lot of work into drainage, down the bottom end of course, 14 and 15, and they dug down quite deep on the 18th after an earlier problem
I just keep telling myself it was winter golf, and get on with it
But YES, the greens were Great last season, and hoping for the same this year too

Id be quite happy if that was as good as it got.........:D
Ive been playing 10 years now, late starter, Im now 43.....!!!.......And i never dreamt Id ever even get to Single Figures, so Im happy whatever Golf has instore for me From now on........

Incidentally Im not off 5, when I referred to 5 H/Cap in a previous Post it was in a response to Imurg, who has the 5 H/Cap
My H/cap is 8.8

I had actually thought Id ended season on 8.4.........but Im actually 8.8, so hopefully I may trim a shot off this season, thats my aim, get back to 8, my Lowest ever H/Cap was 7.8

Bandit, hitting a 4 under, playing off 9, you should ashamed!!!! Pot > kettle.

Its great being able to say it though, I wonder what percentage of golfers ever have an under par round in there life. Guessing less than 25%.

Well done moogie, i broke 80 for the 1st time last week with a 78 (par 70) and i thought id won lottery! Can only imagine what shooting under par must feel like! Keep her lit!
