so 1st comp Sunday and the weather is forecast for 20 mile an hour winds, why is it whenever I arrange a round the bloody wind kicks up, yet to play on a flat calm day yet!!!

Anyone else find this or is it just me :D

The wind is always the first thing I check when I use Metcheck or the like. I don't mind a little bit of rain, or the threat of showers, but I hate to see windspeeds of 30mph or so.
Played at Lindfield last week. Stood on the first tee and nearly got blown over!

20mph that's a light breeze up here. Try playing 70mph gusts then you'll know windy!!! :D

Seems like it's been windy every time I've played for the last 5 or 6 weeks and Sunday doesn't look to be any different.

Just remember that trying to hit it harder into the wind is not going to work. Take a club or two more and hit your normal shot

The wind can help sometimes if it's behind or like me you play a horrible left to right into a right to left wind!
