Check out the range of ladies clubs available. They are about mid range length between childs and mens clubs and also have a slightly softer shaft flex to suit a junior swing. My 10 year old has just moved up to a ladies 3 wood and hits i realy well.
As long as they are not finished in bright pink then they should be a good alternative.

I think at 12 depending on his size a move to full size clubs might be on the cards.
I played with fullsize clubs from the age of 13, as did my peers, and im a bit of a dwarf.
I think with the speed at which children grow at that age he may quickly outgrow a junior set.

I would agree with this.
My Son is 13 and we have just bought a ladies set for him. He's not quite tall enough for my old John Letters Trilogy but I will hand these down to him when he's ready.
He seems to be getting on OK with the ladies set that I bought him and as they are not pink he doesn't feel embarrassed to play with them.
Picked a full set of irons up which included a hybrid for about £55.00 brand new, graphite shafted as well (although they are a bit swishy for me!)

Right,

to continue this thread, I am also looking to try and get a couple of clubs for me soon to be 3 year old son. He has a little Maxfli putter and I would like to get him a couple of light clubs to follow daddy about the practice area with.

Does anyone know of any manufacturer who make clubs small and light enough???

His birthday is the end of November, however I think the clubs will come from Santa! Help and advice appreciated as always.
