Joining a new club - Belfry or others

members tee times are 7am to 9. without consultation they changed that to 7 to 8.30. as i can only tee off between 8.50 onwards that puts me right out of luck. add the fact that we can only book upto 14 days in advance and the stay and play golfer can book 6 months in adavance means i can't get on to play when i like. and when i do finaly get on its 5 hr rounds. with the silly offers the belfry are chucking out the place looks like alton towers.

Not ideal, no wonder your planning on moving.
In the past i've been a member of Municipal, proprietary , and golf clubs linked to hotels.
The municipals were ok, but weekends were a nightmare with 6 hour rounds pretty common.
Hotel course's and proprietary course's seemed more concerned with making money than catering for the members.
I'd like to join a private members club, but i'd have to be completely sold on the place if i was having to pay a joining fee.
I really like Maxstoke, and know a lot of lads there, but playing midweek after work would be awkward because of the route i'd have to take to get there.

I've told ya mate... Sundowner is the future. Course to yourself. #MILLIONAIRSGOLF

Suits me to the ground, finish work at 2 and be on the course by 3:15 with it to ourselves most the time.
