Different coloured tees allow players to choose a tee for their ability.

Common colours are Brown, Green, Blue, Black and Red.

Some courses use Black or Blue for the very back tees. Green and Brown are often “senior” tees and avoid carries over lakes and scrubland etc.

Orange is a new one to me too but I see where it fits in.

Congrats. I came within 3 inches of my first last week and the closest I've ever come. Can't help feeling a hole in one with the first shot means the round can only head one way

I joined a ‘special club’ also 2 weeks ago and was given my shirt today in recognition of being a member (choice word) of it 😜☹️

Tee colours at our place were changed from red yellow and white to green orange and purple .......

Some clubs have replaced red tees with orange so they are not seen as ladies tees.

Still waiting for my first although I have had three almosts now which literally have finished on the lip over the last 20 years.

I'd definitely like to have one once but really think the ritual for those that do is so stupid.

You've done something good, so surely the reward should be yours? Am I missing something here?

so orange is the new yellow and red has been deleted to help the colour blind shame about green for the same reason unless of course that is lime green.
