Really do feel sorry for the fella but isn't it about time that he called it a day??

Another little strain after his cameo appearance on Tuesday. That is going to keep happening if all he can ever manage is rehab and non contact ressie matches.

For his own health, he needs to get out so he doesn't do any more serious damage to himself.

Yep! up to that he was superb for Leeds and the only time he got anywhere near that good again, and played regularly was for Boro I would say.

Had a season ticket up there at that time and he was superb.

Loving the BORO feelings in the above thread.

I don't get much appreciation for the boro since I live in the west mids these days.

Up the Boro!!!!!!

Oh and I do feel sorry for Woodgate. Was hoping he'd come back to boro on loan this jan in the transfer window till the end of season but it wasn't to be.
Who knows, maybe in the future. :)

Rubbish man! Woodgate was also superb at Newcastle WHEN HE PLAYED prob the best centre half I've ever seen, like someone else said.

Such a shame he's been crocked so much

I believe the saying is "what goes around, comes around".

His injury nightmare couldn't have happened to a nicer fella.

I'm hoping the same happens to Barton.

ha ha ha we got 14 million out of Woodgate leaving us,who's laughing now!

Wishing injuries on footballers. You sound like a REAL football fan.NOT.

As far as I'm concerned, Woodgate, Dowyer, Barton et al are anything but footballers. They're animals who should be treated accordingly. Footballers are a dying breed. I'm struggling to think of any that are still playing. Beckham. There's a footballer.

As for being a REAL football fan - how does one quantify that??
