watching the ET this morning and quite a few times they mentioned his slow play and particularly of those on the PGA tour

god he takes a bloody age over every single shot. Cracking golfer but as mentioned should players start getting shot penalties for slow play or as there is so much money involved just turn a blind eye?

Did anyone else hear them referring to this matter?

Slow play popped up a few weeks back and I said then I thought a yellow card system would be great. Get one warning aka a yellow and a 2nd in the same tournament is a 2 shot penalty. Get three reds in a season and miss the next event. That would get them moving. Fines make bugger all difference

the commentators said 'shot penalties would soon speed them up' so its obviously getting to be a bit of an issue if even the ex pro's are calling for it.

Had to laugh when I heard I think it was Howard Clarke call him Jason 'All' Day, quality

More interesting than ex pros mentioning it is that 2 of the worlds top 3 have moaned about slow play already this year, both Donald and Westwood have had their say, albeit only on twitter.

Hopefully, sooner rather than later the powers that be will listen to these top players and finally take some action

It seems as if the younger players are some of the worst offenders, Day, Simpson, Crane, etc. Not good for the future of the game, and it needs to be sorted now.

i think this would work a treat and is a good idea.

Is it Keegan Bradley or Webb Simpson who does about 3 practice swings then walks to the ball, looks at the target, takes another practice swing before finally hitting the ball. Its irritating to say the least.
