Given a good spell of dry weather Musselburgh is the one that is on my radar.

Scotscraig is the best out of the lot mate and great winter course, i would say that as i play there, anytime you want a game give me as shout.

Have played Dunblane New really enjoyed nice mix of holes , i would like to play it when its dry and it shouldn't have been open that daybut there was 64 of us there thru work, pro was a good lad as well.

I've played Glenbirvie, Merchants of Edinburgh and West Linton. Ejoyed them all but West Linton would be my choice of preference.

Of those, I've played Baberton, Broomieknowe, Dalmahoy, Kingsknowe, Lothianburn, Prestonfield, Scotscraig and West Linton and, of those, I'd only really be in any hurry to go back and play Scotscraig and West Linton. The others are ok, but those two stand out for me.

Alloa and Glenbervie should be on your radar if in the central belt. Glenbervie is one of the best inland courses in the central belt, especially if it gets dry up here (will it ever?)

The thing is Del it's all relevant to to price we pay to play these tracks so even though the courses may not be top notch but by not paying full green fee rate but paying anything between £7 to £15 for the pleasure makes them a worthwhile trip.

Fair comment, Allan, but he's talking about June next year - how will he get those rates then?
