Sun shining here in a clear sky. No more sown or rain since early afternoon yesterday, temps also a balmy 7°C when I was out an hour ago.

Kids have gone to the pub to watch Villa while I watch it at home !! I will also swap to see the Ireland Wales game. Good result for England yesterday.

Well, I'm just back from St Andrews. Gorgeous weather and 18 holes of links golf. The only problem was getting the tee into the ground.

We played this morning....

Turned up but course had delayed tee times due to fog...... cleared (ish) then we went out at bout 0930, decided on just doing back 9!! Course was still frozen as were greens.....

Enjoyed the knock tho, started off disastrously with a 8 and 9 but then pulled it round and finished with 48 which i was more than happy with (no official handicap but only hit under 100 once !!) especially as there was no chance of stopping the ball on the greens !!!!

Went for a walk around my course with the wife. Only ones out there. Gloriously quiet and tranquil

Spent the day at Glenshee, all runs open, no wind and above freezing temperatures. 7 hours skiing and boarding with my son was a great way to spend a day.
