I've done it again !!

After last weeks win in the Club Champs we had a big event today. The Goymour Cup is a comp sponsored by the club owners and has a terrific prize table. The winner takes home £175 and so on down to family day out tickets for nearest the pins on the 4 par 3's at Banham zoo and other local attractions.

It's a stableford and includes the ladies off full h/c.

After 5 holes (starting on the 11th) I was 4 over and had used up my allowance I then proceeded to knock in 10 pars and 3 birdies to finish up with 39 points including a blob (splits of 23/16).

That was good enough to win with 3 others on 38 pts , i'm absolutely thrilled with the win and what a couple of weeks it's been...phew...

Pro shop account is now well over £400 and heres the trophy to prove it this week...

Nothing of note left i'm afraid , apart from i'm in the singles semifinal. The odd medal/stableford but I can take or leave those tbh

I think thats a fair bet , I'm loving just turning up and playing without putting any pressure on myself whatsoever. It's extremely liberating and I wish i'd done it years ago
