What I have noted is that none of our forummers who support the banning of golf on the basis that the travel to the course is unnecessary seem to be condemning these young ladies for their unnecessary trip in order to exercise.

They drove 5 miles to meet for a social distance walk as part their exercise (allowed)

Derbyshire Police have issued fixed notice penalties at other sites in the area. A number of those have been covered by regional TV.
Today they have effectively admitted that it is not for individual officers to make these decisions and those who have been issued with fines should refer them back to the police.
