No surprises but Boxing Day heralds the start of the sales.

The Next sale seems to be one of the popular ones. Have to say that I cannot be arsed to queue for the doors to open at 5 o'clock though. There can be no items of clothing that I would be so desperate to purchase at that ungodly hour.

Thing is, round here the market stall holders are generally the first in the queues. They grab armfuls, buy the lot then knock them out on their bloody market stalls!
 What doesn't sell is then returned for a chuffing refund. Bloody selfish if you ask me. Add to that being jostled by desperate followers of fashion carrying on like there's clothes rationing on, it makes for a pretty dismal shopping experience! HID did it once and vowed never to do it again after what she witnessed and the behaviour of some people.

The sales are not for me.

I igve my missus money for christmas and just one thing to open. She enjoys trolling around the shops and reckons she gets double for her money. I do hate the fact that 2 days after you have bought something it is half price on Boxing day.

Gave HID the money to get a laptop in the sales. Got herself a nice little HP for £375 reduced from £595 at pc world. Now for me to find a cheap GPS.

Had a mooch around AG in Camberley this morning for something to do. Not a lot in there really. Saw some decent Adidas trousers down from £60 to £25 which tempted me but my money and cards stayed in my pocket
