Merry Xmas to all from the land of cheap golf:thup:

Who can hit 300 yard drives?

Which high handicappers can play the flop shot?

How many of you use Scotty putters because it makes you a better putter?

Who regularly scores more than 40 points?

How many have a laser/GPS and can hit the ball the correct distance?

Who thinks parkland courses are good?

Merry Christmas everyone ;)

Yards, that's for girls, we are talking metres here.
I'm cat 1 so am qualified to attempt the flop/thin shot.
What has Star Trek got to do with golf?
Done it on the front nine, but then got tired so back nine was only 39.
Got one in my car, helps me to find new courses.
Why stride down dry links fairways when you can slide round a parkland in the winter mud.

Who can hit 300 yard drives? all forum members

Which high handicappers can play the flop shot? whats a high handicap? 12 according to some!

How many of you use Scotty putters because it makes you a better putter? I'd use a Scotty dog if I thought that!

Who regularly scores more than 40 points? everyone on the Trilby Tour?

How many have a laser/GPS and can hit the ball the correct distance? No one, not even SILH

Who thinks parkland courses are good? Rabbits and squirrels

Merry Christmas everyone same to you!

Oh dear we will get some links putter on here groaning about this. I have not hit a 300 yard drive for 2 months at least, I have not played :( . My SC has made me a better putter, because if I miss I look like a turnip with all the gear and no idea. 40 pts ha .... The green keeper at our place will foul your locker if you do that, I know first hand and I have not done it since. I hit the ball my laser tells me but the GPS is often over ambitious. Parkland courses, I dunno, maybe they are dangerous when you just hear a ball pinging around the trees and the faint swear wood.
EYC !

Have done.
Use to use it to good effect when I was off 24. Not got enough shots to pay with to risk it now
I have more success with my Del Mar Sea Mist than any other putter, but that's because it suits me and not because it makes me a better putter.
I very rarely score more than 40 points, otherwise I would be a bandit.
I have both laser and GPS and I know exactly how far I hit the ball and it's not far enough.
Parkland courses are the best and so much better than links crazy golf.
Merry Christmas to you too! :D

I have on several occasions and once with my 3 wood Howling tail wind onto a rock hard down slope to the green!

Can and do regularly but have to practice it a lot.

Never had one and never tried one.

Sometimes.

Yes and yes but the direction can be quiet interesting.

Love parkland golf summer or winter.

Merry Christmas and may Santa bring you everything you asked him for.

I normally hit about 295-297 (yes I am that precise) but I only use my 3 wood. I hit my driver so long which shortens even the longest of courses too much and takes all the fun out of the game.

Flop shot? Sorry, my approaches are all direct to the green and within 10 feet of the pin, so only use putter.

Scotty phones me to ask how to make his putters better. Not the otherway round.

40 points is an average score for when we do our "3 clubs and a putter" comp

I have no need for GPS. I'm an ex astronaut but the other year I was involved in a crash of an experimental aircraft. Woke up after the US government had fitted me out with $6 million worth of funky kit, inc new bionic arm, new leg & a ding dong left eye gizmo. Got 20:1 zoom and infra red and everything!

Parkland's ok if you want to have a picnic whilst your going round. Real men play golf where it's meant to be played, on the inner slopes of an active volcano.

Merry Christmas all.

Steve Austin.

Er, was this with one hand or two?
Does it matter which end of the club you use?
only when the hole is the size of a dustbin lid
you mean people score less than 40 ?
i use the gps strapped to a iron
I usually play on a course not the park

Have a great Chistmas everybody!
