Hi all
Has anyone played any of the courses or is a member of any courses on the isle of Wight? Looking to go there Easter so any recommendations and weather advice would be appreciated.

We have an annual match with them. Great course and great trip. Decent course and interesting if the wind gets up

Shanklin is regarded as the best course on the island and it's the only one I've played. It's OK but won't blow you away.

Played Ryde and Shanklin and Sandown a few years. Thought S and S was an excellent heathland course IMO.

Another recommendation for Shanklin & Sandown....a good heathland Braid course.

Osborne is a nine holer but lacks ....something. Got some good holes but there are more than a few that are uninspiring.

Heard that Freshwater has great views but can be exposed to the weather.... very exposed!!!

We have a reciprocal there, but not sure I will make the trip.
