Is the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 worth the money?

If you are iffy on the greens you might be better off with a model that is more forgiving than a Newport style design.
i use an Odyssey 7(fang style) as used by Luke Donald.
I have had a few Scotty C putters and although lovely to own they are not that easy to use. For me an insert putter is much easier to use in terms of distance control, less chance of the ball jumping off the face than a metal face.
One thing I would say is that if you buy a SC second hand and do not get on with it, you should get most, if not all, of your money back.

The question isn't is it worth it, it's are you happy to spend it. In my case the answer was yes and I'd spend it again, best putter I have ever owned
