Is It?

Bromsgrove?
Walk down the pedestrian centre and there is a statue to Bromsgrove's favourite son, A.E Housman.
Some people say he had never been to Shropshire, but I suspect he had.

Not on the statue, but this is pure Coleridge:

On Wenlock Edge the wood's in trouble
His forest fleece the Wrekin heaves,
The gale it plies the saplings double,
And thick on Severn snow the leaves.

Whisht! lads, haad yor gobs,
An' aa'll tell yer's aall an aaful story,
Whisht! lads, haad yor gobs,
An' Aa'll tell yer 'boot the warm.
