I've been putting poorly and with little confidence for some time now and finally took the plunge and bought a new putter after work on Tuesday. I'm not one for swapping and changing too often and had the previous one 5 years but I just felt I had to change something.
First time out at Haydock Park on a golf society event yesterday...... 26 putts, 4 birdies and an eagle all from 10 to 20 feet. A couple of par saves from 8-10 feet, no 3 putts and no short misses. Nett 66, won the comp and my best ever gross on an away course (+2).
I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while
but it's weird how a simple change can produce such an impact on form. Anyone got any similar "miracle cures" to share ?
