Just checking which everyone prefers to play with? have you changed your long irons to hybrids or vice versa? what are the pros and cons of both options?

Little poll added for interest too.

Whatever works for you.

I have a hybrid instead of a 3 iron because I think it's slightly more useful but if you're confident with a 3 iron (or longer) then that's good too. :)

My irons run down to a 3 iron, but I carry a 2H for playing into the longer par 4's and 5's

Like R3 said, It's what you feel more comfortable with and can use that matters.

I have one hybrid to replace my 3 iron. It is more versatile. I can't see why I would ever need more than one though. I hit my 4i fine.

My irons start at 4 they didnt come with a 3 iron but im comfortable using a 4 iron...I like the low flight off the grass and off the tee the flight is a little higher....
I use a 3h which is long and straight but id still chance a 3 iron if i could get my hands on one.
