No they are not!
But they are all 'as good as each other'. So it's a question of finding the one that suits you best.
And as another poster has written, don't forget the smaller brands that either provide the equivalent kit cheaper, or a better overall deal for similar money.

Depends what your after really, if you want distance then taylormade and Callaway will be the best option, if you want a bit of control and shot making then Mizuno and Titleist work well.
What I did was try out loads of different brands and find what worked for me, don't forget custom fit as they can tweak the clubs to your exact spec. I wanted distance so went taylormade, if I went for control then I'd have gone Mizuno.

I'm in the process of getting new irons also and have narrowed it down to ping and titleist. This just being the clubs that I like the look of and perform well with having been properly fitted. But I suggest you just hit all the clubs that you like until you find the ones that you hit the best regardless of brand. RickG uses Orka and he says the service from the company is fantastic.
so like one of the previous posters said, don't overlook the smaller brands and I believe the fella that works for Orka is on this forum somewhere.

I will openly admit i am a huge ORKA fan, however, this is only because their clubs outperform every brand i have ever tried. I was extremly sceptical about using a smaller brand, but have been WOW'd on all occasions, and no look anywhere else. The fact the service is fantastic (from start to finish) is an added bonus for me.
However, i will not knock other brands, Mizuno irons (Despite me never having any) look amazing, and perform very well. My TM drivers have also done a great job.
Ultimately, just make sure you try all the clubs you can and get custom fit at a few different places (you'll be suprised the different results you will be given). Then purchase the right ones for you. each to their own if you ask me.

It wasnt me! I even follow Alex of twittererererer... i agree he didnt get the best of welcomes, which is a shame as he seems a decent chap from his tweets and from comments from guys here who know him!

Seriously, go with the look intiially and try a few out. Make a decison then get custon fitted.

I've only ever owned Titleist (twice), Taylormade, Howson & a set of Ben Sayers (junior) irons. The Titleists are the best of those IMHO.

I've had Mizuno and currently Ping (both custom fitted) and I've been really happy with both of them.
I am treating myself to a new set of Orkas though, should be with me in a couple of weeks. Alex at Orka is top, top bloke and, thus far, I've been really impressed with the company and their products.

I have to agree with this. I do not think that there is a single manufacturer that does not have at least one set of irons that I like the look of and I suspect that there are few manufacturers that do not have clubs in their range that are not pretty much the equal of a set of clubs by another manufacturer. I remember at one stage I would only look at Cobra irons because I liked the fact that they came with the Nippon shafts I liked as standard (in the days when regular or stiff were pretty much the only shaft options).
I use Nike and I love them but I doubt any brand is better than another in the list you have provided.
The worlds top players use Nike and Titelist with TM, Ping, Callaway ect users following close by... Not many Mizuno players in there but there are users on this forum who would kill for a new set of shiney Mizuno irons and I can see why...

To be honest, i dont think you can compare the pro's usage by quality of club. Its only about marketing budget and how much they are paid! Titleist lose all of their players eventually (other than Adam Scott) as they refuse to compete for costs - Tiger, Rory, Mannesero to name just 3.
