I tend to do a lot of tinkering if I'm at a range especially if I hit a few duff ones. Its not really necessary as I know if I'm on the grass at my practice ground I'll just get on with it if I hit a bad one as I would on the course. I think thats one of the problems with a range it sort of encourages you to think too much. I don't mind trying things out (high/low shots, moving it both ways etc) but I tend to perhaps get over-analytical
