Ironing your golf attire

When I bought my Mizuno Irons, I got the missus an Iron set as well, hers said Phillips and came with a large floral cover. NO idea how you swing the Phillips though.

Well after 22 years in the military I iron everything including the wifes clothes

Everything has to be neatly iron - even the "non iron" clothing has creases

They say you take the man out of the military :D

But being Ex-RAF Phil, the creases will probably be double ones😜

Haven't ironed a golf shirt in years, they're all that iron free material now aren't they? Nobody's mentioned my disheveled look (at least not to my face!)

I don't trust my missus with the iron for any of my clothes, I hadn't realised previously that it was possible to get hanging shirts or trouser wrong but apparently it is!

I thought the dishevelled look was your face……….

Never let my other half iron anything I want to look good. I do my own ironing - actually find it therapeutic getting a nice even crease in trousers. I think she got upset when I told her there should only be one crease down the front once. (That was one time I crossed that fine line between bravery and stupidity)

With you there Phil. My shirts all have creases down the sleeves, even the non iron ones. I always buy flat front trouser users though and iron them flat without a crease.

A regular PP of mine wore all the GG and other designer golf wear, but I couldn't help noticing how scruffy he always looked because it hadn't been ironed.

Always iron my own gear.
Made the mistake of criticising my wifes ironing when she did a shirt for me just after we first met and she has never taken an iron to my stuff since.
Just bought one of these for myself...

It's cushty. Has a funky digital control (rather than a dial) that initially lights up red but will then turn green and beep at you when the temperature is right for any particular material.
I love using it.

"Let her" that's a laugh. Chances of her ironing anything of mine are slim to none.
I'll iron cotton stuff if necessary but the poly golf shirts don't need it so I don't do it.
