I see that the GUIDANCE ON THE WHS RULES OF HANDICAPPING AS APPLIED WITHIN GB&I v1.7 says

Remove reference to 4BBB and Matchplay trial for Golf Ireland.
Remove reference to Golf Ireland in Most Likely Score section.

Apparently, despite repeated comments that this trial was going to potentially determine the way forward for CONGU on 4BB and MLS and that results were always to be available in the foreseeable future, this trial didn't even start. It's all a bit odd really.

I was advised a couple of months ago that Scotland may be looking at trialling additional acceptable formats with MLS in the near future.
