Interesting fact about Bubba

Titleist tell me on Facebook that:

"Bubba Watson currently leads the 2011 PGA Tour in Greens in Regulation at 71.54 percent (837/1,170)."

Interesting I think, he is someone I think of as wildish but it seems that actually he just cant putt

I don't think it's down to his putting.

My guess is it's the other 28 percent, where he is no where near the same golf course after the first two shots that does the damage.

I think it is his putting to be honest mate.... He's ranked 181st our of 190 on tour in putts per round.

Bubba's actually pretty damn accurate with his long game. Considering he's ranked second off the tee in avg. distance its pretty incredible that he is also middle of the pack in terms of fairways hit (111th/190) considering how much harder it is to hit the fairway when you hit the ball his length.

Haven't looked up the stat but could it be because although he hits a lot of greens he's so far away that a 2 putt is the best he can hope for.
