Interesting read, I started the season with hex chrome, was given a sleeve of RX's and then converted. They were stable in the wind but as the summer came on they became harder to control on the greens. I tried the RXS and they were a little shorter but better on landing, chips and bunker shots were no different. Then I was given a sleeve of 2013 Pro Vs, these were a revelation. They spun they felt great, they had good distance and I have been using them ever since. The RX is stable in the wind and good on greens that are moist or have some damping, so this is an autumnal/early season/ winter ball in my opinion.

The main reason the Bridgestone rx and rxs work better then the pro v and MP3, is the inner core compression is much lower.

I use the b330s following Bridgestone visiting our store last year and fitting the ball to me. Moving from prov x to the b330s have given me lower spin as the compression is lower so lowered the side spin, but kept the same level of back spin.

I use the b330s in the summer and the E5 in the winter.

Again people will use a ball because a pro does.

Great test you have done.
