We did the same migration last year.We are allegedly going to IG at some point this year from V1 - not sure one is inherently better than the other is it
We have a long list of open support tickets, many involving lacking functionality and module interoperability, and some of which are frankly beyond belief (for the apparent market leader) - might list them in the ISV thread some time.I have no experience of V1 (we moved from Cobra) some of teh problems I have seen quoted I have not see on IG.
From a club point of view it does integrate all financial matters if the club so desires.
The only problem I have seen is that we have two courses - an 18 and a 9 and it wants the same booking times on both courses which are set at 9 minutes. We do not need 9 minutes on our 9 hole course as it starts with a fairly short par 3 and and even shorter par 3 if players intend to play 18 (2nd time around tee slot gets booked automatically). The other slight problem is the default is 18 holes so a booking slot gets booked out for the who do not bother to change the default, the allowable time for the first 9 is too long for lots of players so and they often start the back 9 ahead of their time so another slot is booked out but not used (1st tee and 10th tee starters have to alternate).
Yes, that’s how our ig is set up.You can set up IG to stop people joining current bookings
Seen the app for the first time yesterday and we tansition behind the scenes next Wednesday and it goes live for members next Thursday. Part of me is thinking if it ain't broke. V1 may not be perfect but everyone is used to it and it works as well as anyWe did the same migration last year.
IG does do many things better, but it also does many things worse or not at all (and their response to enhancement requests is very poor) so be prepared for many, many frustrations and annoyances.

What are people wanting the booking system to do? I can book tee times, top up my bar card and check handicaps. I can see if the course is open and message people to arrange knockouts. What else does the average golfer need or want?
That is what my club V1 does so unless it is for the benefit of the GM and office for their roles I don't see the benefits we are getting as members. What we have does what we need and the choice to change is surely going to make it harder short term for members to book times etc especially some of our seniors. Nothing said about any resource at the club for members to access for helpWhat are people wanting the booking system to do? I can book tee times, top up my bar card and check handicaps. So not unless you login then. I am just a member looking for the options available to configure the tee slot workingsIt’s all on the help section on the admin portal on the website
