Incorrect Result posted .

What is the story when the result is officaly posted but its incorrect . When questioned 3days later (when someone who played with real winner noticed) its changed &Then the proper result is posted.. my opinon was asked on this . I didnt know the official answer but 2 things sprang to mind . A clerical error should not decide the winner and if i was announced the winner id have no prob with it being corrected..

The comp can be changed if it's incorrectly posted - had it with one of ours a while back and checked with congu - just re opened it and then made sure the results correct and then closed it

The next day A advises the Committee that he had returned a lower score than B. A check reveals that A is correct and that, in error, the Committee had failed to post A's score. What should be done?

A.Rule 34-1b does not apply to Committee errors of this kind. The prize should be retrieved from B and given to A, the rightful winner.
