Hello GM forumers,

I have been watching this forum from the rough for a while now and feel it’s time to introduce myself and head towards the 2nd cut and hopefully get back onto the fairway. I also am a subscriber to GM magazine which gets a good 20 minutes perusal every morning whilst I’m waiting for gravity to work!!

My name is Dean and I am a member of Ellesborough GC in Bucks. I’m a bit of a golf fanatic but my wife refers to me as a golf pervert!! Lol. I play as much as I can, not just at my club but in a number of societies. I also arrange an annual charity golf day in September which is a memorial to a friend who passed away 3 years ago. I am also involved in organising events for the Fire Service on a national level and qualified to play for the Fire Service England team last September. I have done some caddying for a mate of mine on the Challenge tour and he got to local final qualifying for The Open (Western Gailes), that was a real insight into the game at a higher level.

Well thats me, I look forward to getting involved in some of the banter as I enjoy the craic. Regards Dean.

I bet there has. I'm jealous yours is open. Still lots of sledging on my course at the moment. I'm off Thursday and thinking of getting in the carf and just driving until i find somewhere open. The Mrs might get the hump if i don't return by bedtime though!! ;0)

welcome, if you've been kibbitzing you'll know what a madhouse this can be.

you sound as if you're an ideal candidate for the 'others' in the inter-service game (Arrange a Game forum)

Welcome Dean mate....bout time!!!
I've stuck you in the Fire Service team..It'll be reflected next time I update the teams.
BTW, this dayjob that you refer to....that'll be Volleyball won't it? :D :D :D
