Im going to be the next 300yard bomber...

ah moogie... heres the best bit,

but to me, the sweetener of the deal was when i was offered to carry the club out the store in a sportsdirect.com staff colours carrier bag, ill be doing a review on the bag later..

Was it the Deluxe Super Strong Staff Coloured BAG FOR LIFE version that you were allowed to carry your precious merchandise home in

Yep...... im over the moon. now if i could just get a deal on them winter tee's connected with a bit of string for frosty days... id feel like a proper pro!

OS, I must have went to the same shop, Guy asked me if I was interested in a Hell Yea Golf "Big 460" 460cc Putter, I know, I know. You are thinking how could that possibly be any better than a regular putter but the guy explained that he had a GCE in geography. How could I argue with that?

Anyway, I asked why is it called the "Big 460" and he said that you could boom it 460 yards minymum, Hell Yea!
I gave it a go on the practice green and had the track man setup, there were issues first off until the guy realised the trackman needed binnoculars fitted.

Got it custom made with 7 extra wraps of tape and a funky grip. What do you think?

Ive gota mate on Europro Tour who had that deal, only 1 year then they pulled the plug
So now, he puts cellotape around tees so they wont snap, and cellopes string to it too, attached to another tee, which u also put into the ground, so it wont EVER get lost

U cud try that........I dont think it breaks any R&A Rules........??

moogie, thats sounds like it would make the tee non-conforming, and given that i already feel like im cheating with my new purchase, i dont want to run the risk of setting anyone up...

although, i have to admit brendys hell yeah 460 could take some beating.

I was always under the impression with, Dunlop drivers especially, that the 420 refered to the number of yards carry that club head and shaft combo was capable of?

Sounds like you need to swing a little harder.

Either that or buy the 460 and swing easy

I suppose ur right........
After all, if ur BOMBING IT 380 then your playing partners will probably BUY YOU some tees, just out of RESPECT
WOW.......just thinking.........380yds.........half yard dispersion.........wota Texas Scramble team mate you would make

your wrong gareth, the club fitter/cleaner in store explained that the 420 means the amount of long drive comps i should win in a year, that and it also ties in nicely was the average ball speed this head produces.

If you are bombing it though surely you need something more than just normal tees.
I give you Metal tees.. for the discerning bomber, when wood and plastic just will not do...

You are both wrong - it relates to the number of replies you will get in a new forum post if you come up with some BS about how far you can hit the ball!!

I'm ready to bet that the scoring of 90% of the people on this forum (included me) wouldn't change at all using a Dunlop driver.

Thought you would of gone for one of these. Don't know why everyone's talking about these taylormade and ping things.
And we must be able to trust the people looking at this driver, because they also bought... Matt Cardle's album, Letters. They know quality! ;)
