Ignore function

I do have a few, and I suspect a few other forummers have the same folk on ignore, which means said forummers on ignore have a limited discussion circle. From my point of view I probably wouldn’t talk to them in the clubhouse so the room is big enough for them to sit at a table and have there natter and me to have a natter at my table without listening to rammel.

Currently 5 active members. I clear my list every now and again, but some people just can't wait to jump on the list almost immediately.

I try to think of it like the golf club, or the bar after a round. Some people I like and am happy to be in their company. The vast majority are perfectly pleasant to spend a few hours with. And a select few, I would leave the bar to avoid them, or change my group if I got drawn with them in a comp.

It appears you can! Never used to be able to (I know - I tried when I first joined). But I just tried to see what happens now, and he disappeared! He's back now of course.
Yeah you couldn’t block a mod in the past because then it would stop them being able to send messages to you - and yep I also tried 😂

And there is prob only one or two on here where I would remove my name from the tee sheet if they joined the 3ball etc or was drawn with them

I suspect some people who are perceived as annoying on here by some are actually lovely in real life and vice versa.

I remember a manager at the pit. He was the most loathesome person you could ever meet. Yet he was happily married with a couple of kids. I often wondered where he morphed from a horrible tit into a loving family man when driving home.
