Very true, also I've noticed a lot of police about. And you can get pulled for this. Police are looking for bad tyres in these difficult road conditions.

Only ventured out once and that was to clear car of 4" snow. Pre empted your advice! Unlikely to leave the house for several days but will be out on the 4th Feb to go to La Manga for three days with 11 others:can't wait.

Either that or accelerate really fast and the snow falls off the back of the car.....

Went out in the car to take the kids sledging, great fun.
Can't beleive how many cars were out with snow on the roof and even the rear window. To be fair to the council the main roads once we got out of our side street were all very good.
