Even greater reason to be 'defensive' rather than impatient!

Nonsense, the facts are there was a covering like dandruff,a goon was doing 10mph on a road with a 60mph limit, cars going the other direction were all travelling at 30mph plus and there was 99% more black of the road visible that white with the 'dusting',it was also daylight 3.15pm and the car temperature was showing 3c.

There was a line of drivers behind the goon doing 10mph of probably 15 cars.

Travelling at the speed of a golf buggy or even slower was not needed in any way no matter how much you would like to paint it.

Why does a driver not have the right to drive at what speed he sees as safe to do? Just because you are a confident enough driver to drive at what you thought was safe speeds it does not mean that everyone is the same.

Because you are interrupting the flow of traffic

I'd rather they drove slowly and everyone got where they were going in one piece rather than one person going faster, skidding, crashing and blocking the road......
As has been said, people crash at 30 on a nice Summer's day - why? If they can do it then, I'd be happy for them to drive slowly in snow and ice......

So really on a summers day we should all travel at what 10mph then to ensue no one runs the risk of a bump.

I am surprised some people get oot their beds in the morning frankly.

If you want to - yes.

Then we can all have a moan at you.

We're talking about driving on Snow and Ice.
If someone can crash on a Summer day at 30 don't you think it more likely that they're going to crash at 30 on snow and ice?

I'm sure the farmer will love the fact you trespassed over his land, just imagine if you had got stuck in the middle of his field in you're 4x4 and had to get him to tow you out.

Then who would be the idiot? ;)

100% correct however I know his son well from the golf hence I knew I could get out 150 yards along the road and bypass a section of standing traffic.

i wouldnt worry thecraw is probably related to said farmer and probably the person that ditched their motor. its a small village:lol:

Maybe the 10mph driver has only recently passed their driving test and never driven in snow before. Or had a an accident in the past in similar conditions and is now nervous?
