so you havnt got £5 for the range,but as a member you dont mind damaging the course and greens,so come summer you will be posting how bad the greens are.

Have to take issue. If the green keeper has deemed it open then you have to assume their assessment of damage being caused is low. We've been wet down here but it's been open. Are we damaging the course by playing in the wet too?
