Wow. I've found an on-line golf ball museum. Yes I really am trying to sound enthusiastic. ;)

I've had an interesting read this afternoon about golf balls, their development and their history. Did you know that there was an 'asymetric' golf ball that was banned by the USGA and they then had to fork out substantial sums after a court hearing to the manufacture. The way it worked was that it had larger, deeper dimples around the equator and smaller, shallower dimples around the rest of it. It supossedly would 'correct' itself in flight and therefore reduce hooks and slices. I say bring it back; please!! :D

Anyway link for the golf ball museum

Enjoy ;)

I hope your new found enthusiasm for online golf ball museums is not going to dominate your on course conversation at Leatherhead. If it does, I am going to stick to playing on the fairway. On my own.

Murph.

If you're playing with me, and if you are on the fairway, which is likelier than not, chances are I won't be there with you, and I 'll be somewhere in the rough. But I will be needing your ball finding skills though.

Seriously, I was that bored today! But no worries about the 28th though.
