Slight problem with my 40 year old record deck. I reckoned I knew what was wrong but it is was locating where to look on the deck electronics.

Check on you tube - one slightly amateurish guy holding out to be pro - no solution there but some good ideas ( a lot of the comments reckoned he nearly wrecked the deck he was working on I would have added a similar comment).

The hey presto via google - website with the Service Manual available to download.

Quick read and a few minutes later all fixed.

It has helped me so many times in that way. Advice, how to videos, review videos. Loads done by amateurs just out to help others. It can be fabulous at times.
